OUR NEW JERSEYS ARE DONE!!!!

This will be our TEAM KIT for 2012 - 2015! We are very excited to get things up and running. We are definitely running into some snags along the road here, but should have things organized and running well by the beginning of 2013. I know, I know, 2013!? Well, it's not that easy to get these high school athletic directors on board, so things move at a snails pace some times...

We will see everyone on the streets, in the woods, and riding along the rail trails this year, just having fun!

Things are looking good!

• I got the thumbs up for our team shorts, so our team kits are done and now we need to finalize everything.
• I contacted BOTH; Grosse Pointe North & Grosse Pointe South.
• The "racer profile sheets" are done.
• The BLOG is cruising right a long.
• Im working on some extra perks, but I cant let them out of the bag yet!

GET THE WORD OUT! The first race is right around the corner in March, so please help us get the word out to any and all who might be up to trying something new and even testing themselves with some racing.

MI cycling is taking off!

Local high school mountain biker Nicole Miranda signs a National Letter of Intent as well as Athletic Scholarship Agreement for cycling at Brevard College. Nicole will be attending Brevard College, Brevard, NC, in the Fall, 2012 cycling for the Brevard Tornado’s mountain bike team as well as playing NCAA Div. II Women’s Soccer. Congratulations Nicole!

GROUP RIDES in 2012

I have posted all of the club's group rides for 2012. Look for the map on the left hand side of our blog. That map will be updated before each new group ride happens. Not every ride will be for any type of rider, but I did try and accommodate to all levels of rider. Anyone can join in. If the distance is too great, then simply pull back and wrap it up for the day, but the rides will have a specific goal to them and for the most part, that will be the distance we are going after. There are quite a mixture of places and rides to see and enjoy. I hope you make a few and share in some memories!
